Julia is a Brooklyn based musician and songwriter. Her distinct sound comes from a wide range of influences including Bob Dylan, Ani Difranco, Elliot Smith, Mirah, Conor Oberst, Cat Power, The Be Good Tanyas, Bon Iver, and Iron and Wine. Julia’s songs employ urban imagery contrasted with vivid metaphors of the natural world. Many of her songs about relationships are deeply personal but express universal emotion, all through a dynamic combination of percussive guitar melodies, poetic lyrics, and a raw voice.

She now lives in Brooklyn and plays a variety of venues in Williamsburg and downtown Manhattan.
